🪐 “Esa.” Born May 19, 2024. Part 2/4 of the “Across the Universe” collection.

“Esa” is a handcut paper collage depicting the birth of the Universe. The European Space Agency’s Planck space observatory shows the distribution of matter through the entire visible universe - from Earth to the outer edge. Esa, born in the material realm, understands the nature of her existence. Yet she yearns for the spiritual. Through her nature, her greatest pleasure is in caring for others. She appreciates all of the senses and nurtures all that come into contact with her. Esa takes a simple, sensible, motherly approach to life by taking care of her loved ones and welcoming others to be themselves. As she gives to others wholeheartedly, she gives to herself by creating a calm, balanced life for herself.
